My wonderful friends at work threw me a shower! Here, you can see the kids setting up at the end of the school day. The room was decorated with balloons and signs that said, "Trent McNeely." It was awesome to see his name in print. I am loving the name lately.
This is Dara fixing the table cloth. Not only am I blessed with adult friends at school, the kids are a blessing each day in my life. They genuinely care about making me happy and about my little man Trent. I have had more support than I ever imagined from the students in my classes.
Please ignore the "spread out" me! I was opening while people chatted. In the picture, you see my friends, Janine, Pennie, Liz and Ben Reif, and Christy. The other side of the room had more people from work as well.

Big thanks to Michelle for organizing the shower for Trent. She managed to surprise me despite the fact we are inseparable. I was blown away by the generosity of the high school and middle school. Trent got so many great things...the play gym, Baby Bjorn, thermometer, baby relief kit, hat and socks, two changing pad covers, a bib, hangers, and many more things I will think of later I am sure!
I also need to make special mention of Liz. She came from Philly to the shower and brought her son, Ben. some of you have been checking her blogspot ( its fabulous) from this site. Liz has been through this whole experience with me, searching for my bedding, answering my ridiculous questions, and calming me down when I wanted to head straight for the doctor.
