Memorial Day Pictures

We had the best time on Memorial day weekend! This is Uncle Joe with some of the catches of the day.
Scott and I are still thinking about how wonderful it will be to take Trent to the beach to play. One of Scott's favorite things that Nathan does is carry the football to him and do a little "celebration" when he delivers it. Scott often mentions how happy he will be when Trent can do the same with him.

I love this pic of Lauren and Nathan! Not only does Lauren look so beautiful, this is Nathan's first time on the rides. He is such a happy little boy! He loved the weekend!
Look how happy Nathan is after his nap! That's me holding him.

Here, Nate is telling me all about the ceiling fan. No matter what is upsetting him, a ceiling fan usually cheers him right up!

During the fishing trip, Nate got to take his pants off. Just as soon as he was free, he took off for the water.

Here's Mimi the fisherwoman posing with the fish! Hopefully, she will give Trent some pointers!

Mimi wasn't even afraid to bait the hook. She loved fishing that morning and was really good at it.

Aunt Karen and Uncle Joe set up the flag on the back of Joe's truck. Looks so gorgeous and patriotic.

Aunt Karen had the biggest catch of the day. Everyone wanted pics with her huge fish! We ended the evening with a yummy dinner of the Fresh Catches of the day. I had never eaten such excellent and fresh fish in my life

What a wonderful tradition! I can't wait to bring Trent for these family fishing days. Thanks Mimi and Grandad for hosting the great time!
