In the previously posted videos, you have seen Trent's attempts at crawling. However, he is quite successful as of Wednesday night. I was at the grocery store grabbing some formula when Scott called to tell me the news. When I arrived at home, Trent was too tired to show me. Yesterday, after work, I threw my cell phone on the ground and he crawled over to it. I have a short clip of the big event that I will post when I get home. The point is, he is mobile.
We also had to drop his crib mattress down because he pulls himself up as of yesterday. I took the short video clip, scooped him up, and headed upstairs to change. While I changed, I put him in his crib to play with his toys in safety. I was met by a smiling, excited, half giggling little man who was standing up on the side of his crib. I was shocked! He turned 8 months old on Wednesday and that was the day everything started. WOW.
My dad writes my mom, Scott, and I updates each day while we work. This is today's. As you can see, Poppy has his hands full...even on his birthday. Happy Birthday, Dad!
Here's the TRENT REPORT for Friday, March 14th.
Hi Girls,
I've got my hands full today, so this has to be short.
Trent is now trying to climb the step up from the family room to the hall! Every time I pull him off of it and re-direct him to another part of the room, he crawls back over, and tries to climb up it again! I've got pillows on the floor to protect him from the step, just in case.
They work great.
Trent plays very independently on the floor with his toys. He likes to make sure someone is still around, and then he goes back to playing.
He ate a big breakfast, followed by all of his bottle, and then juice.
Trent took a short morning nap, and completed a very nice poop. As always, he is happy. vocal, curious, and loves any kind of cords!
We are just about ready to go for a walk.
Love to you both.
