We arrived at about 6 a.m. Although the drive was mentally taxing, it was all worth it when we got there. The house Mimi and Granddaddy had rented was beautiful. As you can see, it was still a little dark when we got the the lake. This lake was called, Hickory Lake. The views were breathtaking. I took these as Scott caught some rest and Trent was playing hard after being in the seat for so long. Here, he is munching on some breakfast. I discovered a DVD that keeps him eating and learning! He watched it each morning while he had breakfast. It is called Brainy Baby and it was a great purchase. Mom's out there: this thing rules! The house slept while Trent and I got some quiet time together.
