Thursday's Girls

This year in lieu of gifts the girls decided to actually leave 26 Westminster and head out for some food and drinks. Everyone gathered at the house for a quick Peppermint Martini and opening of the gifts for the babies.

We had a ton of fun. I certainly didn't pass up the chance to take some shots with the new camera. Dana bought Trent Magna Doodle. He loved it. Please take note of my dainty son's pinky in the air as he opens his gift. Truly, that is the first time we have seen him deal with wrapping paper. Christmas should be fun.

After presents we headed out for dinner. Lighting was an issue in the dark restaurant, but I still insisted on taking pictures. I was probably so annoying.

Chris got to request her favorite Christmas song, "Oh! Christmas Tree" to hear as we dined. The Cherry Hill West Chamber Choir fund raises during the season at various places. They had beautiful voices! We even made Chris taste some of the Pinot Noir we were having. She didn't like it, but was a good sport. Poor Chris was right in front of me, so she fell victim to a thousand pictures.

At the end of the night, we had the valet take our picture. We giggled because he used the manual focus like a pro. We also had a good laugh at the fact that I am a whole head taller than my girls. Beastly.

We sang some old school hits on the way home. I swore it was one in the morning, but I was fast asleep by 11pm. My how things change...for the better.

Love you my girls! Merry Christmas!
