Over!

It has been a long road for this degree. I am still in shock that it is over now. When the 5 of us signed up for the Master's program at Georgian Court University, I know we had of no idea the maelstrom that would be our lives for the next 18 months. I say all the time that I would have never wanted to drag it out any longer than the time we had, but it was a ton of work juggling the family and work and all the things in between. That diploma means so much to me.
However, I was not the only one who had challenges. Scott and Trent had to deal with a stressed version of me who was never happy and always busy and spazzing. My parents spent long hours and a whole summer watching Trent while I studied, went to class, or fulfilled internship obligations. I am forever in debt. It is really that simple.

I didn't get to take pictures the day of graduation, but Scott did a fantastic job for me. The campus really is gorgeous and the experience I had there was priceless. My professors and advisor, Dr. Magaya were vital pieces of the adventure.Even better? My dad graduated from GCU with his Master's and he was there to see me do it. I couldn't help but think as he took pictures of me that night that he must be so happy and know just what I went through.
My Mom was instrumental in supporting me during this craziness too. She listened to me complain and picked me up when I didn't want to go on ( there were a few of those times). My favorite day was driving with her to turn everything in and sharing that moment when I got my cap and gown and it became so real. She was there with Scott, Trent and my dad to cheer me on.
In the process, I knew I would get get a degree, but I didn't know I would make life long friends. Jenne and Brittney are phenomenal ladies who did this too. We have had some great times.

I am thankful. So blessed and fulfilled. I told Dave and Lauren the other day that this graduation was one of the most happy days of my life. Thank you to my perfect family for helping so much and loving me when I was terrible :)
