I am trying so hard to make this site remotely interesting. It is much harder than one might think. Liz (see Ben on sites to check out) gave me the idea for the page, helps me set it up to be nice, and yesterday, taught me how to do a few new things. Of course, somehow, I am messing up. I will get the hang of it.
Finally, I am more content with the blog template. I didn't like the dark blue and the vertical "squished" layout of all the previous templates. This one seems to work. Now if I could just fix that picture in the opening to fit the box...we would be in business.
I found out recently there are readers in our family from North Carolina! Hi Everyone! I am so excited to have you checking out the blog. My friends and family who are far away(Hope, Liz, Sarah, Monica, Jaime) are the whole reason I have made this site. I love that people check it out! Now, I am able to see just who does (as soon as I install the feature). Liz taught me about the SiteMeter. She knows the best stuff!
Trent is asleep in his swing- FINALLY. Hence, no flash this morning. I apologize for how dark the pics are.My little bugger hasn't been sleeping too well. Lots of commotion in the house with the beginning of the kitchen renovations! Yippee!
Yesterday, our new stove and microwave came. Microwave not shown here. Scott is putting that in today after we see the granite man. I must say I am very excited about the kitchen. Here is a quick before and kind-of- after. When the whole thing is done I can post some more shots. The bisque colored oven is replaced with the new stainless collection. We had the frige and the dishwasher, now we are complete.
North Carolina McNeely's- Scott, Trent, and I are looking forward to a visit during spring break. Hopefully, that works for you!
Thanks for checking the blog faithfully. Trent is our little star.
