My family is kind enough to have Easter the day before Easter each year, so that we can go with the McNeely side on Easter Sunday. My Aunt JoAnn hosts the fun at her house and is super creative with the entertainment and food. As you can see, I still have not mastered the lighting in her house, so everything is gold like last year's pics, but you will get the idea still. The egg was a hit! Pretty and cute!
Boris, Scott, and Uncle Leon posed for a picture. It is hard to believe that Uncle Leon will be 86 soon. Trent played with everyone in the den. Kelly, Aunt Jo Ann, and Poppy were covered in the new playdoh he got from Aunt JoAnn. So was he! We ended up taking off a lot of his outfit and putting on jeans when he got really messy.
After a delicious dinner, Trent became the magician's trusty assistant while Scott and the family watched!
Really, Aunt Jo Ann's tricks get better each year. I took some videos that I will post later, but she does have some talent. Couldn't resist Trent's little feet. So adorable.
Trent gets tons of love from everyone...he loves the attention. Here he picked the cards for the numbered bag swap. We all won something fun.
Kelly is modeling the dusting gloves Aunt JoAnn made as a gift. They are so cute! In fact, Aunt Lois asked for one to take home too.
Poppy and Maggie got Trent a perfect Easter basket filled with everything he is into. Peppermint Patties, Junior Mints, Peeps, M&Ms...a book, a game, and he favorite toy, an airplane launcher thingee. I am sure I will be taking pictures of the festivities with that toy quite a bit. He loved that airplane. We must have loaded it a million times.
We topped off the evening with Aunt Lois' Italian Love Cake. Wow! Is that good. Certainly, lots of love in our family.
