Photo Shoot

Last night we got some Valentine's Day pictures taken at the Picture People. Ugh! Always an experience. Trent really amazed me, though. Trent is the sweetest little thing. He laughed and giggled and flirted the whole time. It was a long night, passed his bedtime,  and he was hungry- not a peep out of him. Rather, he relaxed with his feet on the tray of his stroller  until Ella was finished getting her pictures. He was so good and sweet and calm. I think he gets that from me- YEAH RIGHT. He is certainly his father's son...

I swear, this kid is a model. Ella went for her first professional photo shoot too! I have pictures from the evening, but I am not going to share until Valentine's Day. He is adorable, but some of you are getting the pics as a gift! Stay tuned.

Happy Birthday Grammy!

My mom's birthday was Monday. Of course, she didn't want anything. Scott and I decided a photoshoot was in order. These are some of the outtakes from the session. Yes, I know, I am quite talented. Trent is also quite the model.

1000 shots and three months old

I was joking around this weekend about taking so many pictures. See, my whole life I have been the girl who forgot the camera. I seem to forget it when it is most important. When Trent was born, I vowed to document every little thing he does or we do. I have take 1000 pictures since July 12th. Only a few make it onto the blog, but all of these priceless shots are saved carefully on cds and some photo albums. He is getting so big. I dont want to miss one minute. In honor of the 1000th picture,and his three month birthday, I thought a random mix of shots from the last few days would be fun. Hopefully, I will never miss an outfit, a smile, a cry, or a lazy day in Trent's life.

As an adult I am seeing more and more of the things my parents have done coming out in me. I remember being in high school and sighing loudly at my dad whenever he would stop me for a photo, or make me "say something to the camera" while he video taped a holiday. I see myself trying to capture milestones and giggles just like my dad used to do to me. I look forward to Trent rolling his eyes when he realizes I am going to take millions of pics all the time. Happy three months, Trent.






Here, Trent is on his play gym. He just learned to grab things and its getting to be more fun for him. He likes to look in the mirror.








I read on BabyCenter.com that babies love to "fly" around at this age. A funny thing Scott does when he gets home from work is fly Trent into the opening in the wall between the kitchen and the family room. Its hilarious to look over while I am cooking dinner and see my little man flying through the air!








Trent is adorable when he sleeps. He wakes up with a smile even from the deepest sleep like this one.
