Peas

I believe Trent has the most genuine faces and reactions I have ever seen. These are his reactions to his first solid food experiences:

Santa

It was a clear and wonderful day when Trent met Santa. He didn't cry at all. Soon there will be a video from the news posted. He was terrific!

Up, Up, and Away

Our little man loves to fly . He laughs and laughs when we push him up to the ceiling and make flying noises. I was Nervous Nelly at first because I swore he might fall. Now, I love seeing him giggle as he flys around the room. We have learned quickly to be alert while helping him soar through the house...he tends to drop drool all over every one or thing in his path.

The Perfect Hostess

Mimi was the perfect hostess for thanksgiving. She worked hard on preparing everything right down to the mini cheesecakes for dessert. Some examples: the beautiful table settings,

thoughtful place cards,

and spectacular food.

Eagles at Denise's

We had a fun weekend. After Mimi and Granddaddy watched Trent on Friday, the weekend was basically open. Scott has decided that we will be renovating our kitchen. Trent, Scott, and I shopped for granite and tile and hardware on Saturday. I would have pictures..but the two of us passed out around 4pm and didn't wake up until 8:30 when we headed back to sleep for the night. Trent was able to relax with me for the first time in awhile. He is quite uncomfortable from his new formula and sleeping is tough. I spent great quailty time with him.

On Sunday, we went for an Eagles celebration at Denise's house. It was quite the family affair! I love the jersey Erin bought for Trent! I am so blessed with such great friends...ok, I know I am always saying how blessed I am.

Please notice all the drool coming from my little guy. He is really drooling these days.Tooth? He's always hot too! I had to take his jean shorts off half way through the game. He would be angry about the double chin picture, but I just had to put it in for you to see him.

Being at Denise's was so wonderful, Aunt Nancy and Uncle Ernie got to play with Trent, the food was yummy, and the company was terrific! Thanks Denise for a great time! You really outdid yourself!

The Baptism

Trent was a model child for his baptism on the 14th. He smiled and laughed and was a complete hit at church. Thank you to my wonderful family and friends for sharing, helping with, and supporting us on, our special day.

1000 shots and three months old

I was joking around this weekend about taking so many pictures. See, my whole life I have been the girl who forgot the camera. I seem to forget it when it is most important. When Trent was born, I vowed to document every little thing he does or we do. I have take 1000 pictures since July 12th. Only a few make it onto the blog, but all of these priceless shots are saved carefully on cds and some photo albums. He is getting so big. I dont want to miss one minute. In honor of the 1000th picture, and his three month birthday, I thought a random mix of shots from the last few days would be fun. Hopefully, I will never miss an outfit, a smile, a cry, or a lazy day in Trent's life.

As an adult I am seeing more and more of the things my parents have done coming out in me. I remember being in high school and sighing loudly at my dad whenever he would stop me for a photo, or make me "say something to the camera" while he video taped a holiday. I see myself trying to capture milestones and giggles just like my dad used to do to me. I look forward to Trent rolling his eyes when he realizes I am going to take millions of pics all the time. Happy three months, Trent.

Here, Trent is on his play gym. He just learned to grab things and its getting to be more fun for him. He likes to look in the mirror.

I read on BabyCenter.com that babies love to "fly" around at this age. A funny thing Scott does when he gets home from work is fly Trent into the opening in the wall between the kitchen and the family room. Its hilarious to look over while I am cooking dinner and see my little man flying through the air!

Trent is adorable when he sleeps. He wakes up with a smile even from the deepest sleep like this one.

The Breast Cancer 3 Day

Yesterday, we met Aunt Karen at the finish of the Breast Cancer 3 Day. It was a beautiful ceremony and quite emotional. We were so proud of her. I was so inspired that I have decided to take on the challenge for next year. I will most likely walk in memory of my Aunt Bev. I don't know if I have what it takes to train for a 60 mile walk, but I will try. This morning I walked three miles to see how it would be to start the training. I will keep you posted on the whole thing.

Trent, as always, was amazing. It was all the way in Newtown Square, PA. The ride there was about an hour and fifteen minutes. It was really hot and sunny and there were so many people there. I was worried, but shouldn't have been. He even smiled while we sat in the parking garage for an hour and then still have to drive home! Not to mention that in the morning he sat through church with no issue. I am so very blessed to have such a happy baby.

Here are some of the pictures from the day.
