The Breast Cancer 3 Day

Yesterday, we met Aunt Karen at the finish of the Breast Cancer 3 Day. It was a beautiful ceremony and quite emotional. We were so proud of her. I was so inspired that I have decided to take on the challenge for next year. I will most likely walk in memory of my Aunt Bev. I don't know if I have what it takes to train for a 60 mile walk, but I will try. This morning I walked three miles to see how it would be to start the training. I will keep you posted on the whole thing.

Trent, as always, was amazing. It was all the way in Newtown Square, PA. The ride there was about an hour and fifteen minutes. It was really hot and sunny and there were so many people there. I was worried, but shouldn't have been. He even smiled while we sat in the parking garage for an hour and then still have to drive home! Not to mention that in the morning he sat through church with no issue. I am so very blessed to have such a happy baby.

Here are some of the pictures from the day.

The Jogger

This weekend we decided to put the jogger stroller together that Mimi bought us. I wasn't really sure if Trent was big enough for it, but it seems to be alright. I am happy we have it for the walks in Haddonfield. The sidewalks are so bumpy there that Trent was being tossed around in his travel system. I used it this morning on my first day of training for the 3 day Cancer Walk next year. I enjoy the pedometer. We shall see how long I last on this training kick. I am still trying to figure out creative ways to keep the sun off Trent in the jogging stroller. Since its for big kids, the cover isnt huge and my little man has to wear sunblock and glasses...he actually fusses a bit. Once we get walking we are alright though. It will only get better as he gets older! Thanks, Mimi. I can't wait to have you push him around town. You will love it!
