Good Bye, Old House

At the beginning of July, Mimi and Granddaddy moved out of the house where Scott and Mike grew up. I asked Scott to take me and the boys with him as he said goodbye to his childhood home. I really wanted to get some pictures for the boys and for Scott.

I felt sad for him and for my inlaws since I couldn't even imagine my parents moving out of the Pemberton home. Ray and Joyce handled the pressure fantastically and Scott just needed a little time to walk around before he was alright with thechange. Cole's first time at the house would alsobe his last, but he seemed to enjoy the time he spent there. I doubt Trent understood what was happening and he happily explored all the empty rooms one last time.

Joyce found some old pictures from Scott's soccer days and gave them to him. I made Scott pose in his old room and then in different places he knew he would miss.262 will surely be missed, but the memories from that lovely house will be around forever.
