I sometimes wonder if I will ever get over taking so many pictures. I can't help it. His outfits are too cute. Spoiled one only wears the outfits once because he has so many clothes. I just HAVE to capture each one. I know- I am a nerd. This is before a trip to BJs on Saturday morning.

Daddy and Me

For Christmas, I bought my dad tickets to the Duke v Temple game on January 9. We were so excited to go! I researched the tickets carefully and got the best money could get us. Scott and I are beyond thankful for the love and devotion my dad has shown Trent by taking care of him each day. My dad is an angel. Above, some of the awesome shots from the night. My dad and I were so blown away we hardly said a word. We have loved Duke for so long! This was the coolest experience. We have a photo show ready, but it isn't coming up right on here. I will post them again soon.

Genetics

At our house, the mornings are pretty hectic. Its totally my fault because I am disorganized. In order to keep some things a bit more sane, our routine involves Trent in our bed for the hour that I get ready and Scott is still asleep.I find genetics amazing. Not only do my two favorite men look alike, they sleep the same. I was able to sneak these pics of the two of them sacked out this morning. Please notice how similiarly they sleep. They are dark because I didn't want to wake them!

God Gave Us You

I love watching Trent with his Dad. Scott is so good with him. He makes him laugh out loud, something I have yet to accomplish. Trent is really aware of everything around him. He looks at the pictures while we read now. My mom actually bought me this book called, "God Gave Us You." Its adorable. He smiles at the pictures and laughs when Scott puts his name into the story or changes the pitch of his voice. I try hard not to snap too many pictures because Trent is easily distracted by me.
The other picture is a developmental milestone. He is grabbing and holding with both hands now. I am impressed. My dad is always telling me about the motor skills they work on. I don't get to see a whole lot of action because Trent is worn out by the time I get him at 4:30.This weekend I got to spend a long time just watching my little boy.I guess its the little things...

Preparing for the Baptism
This was the big weekend. We had to go out on Saturday to get the food for Sunday. As I said in the previous post, I am taking pictures of everything. Even a trip to Bjs turns out to be a photo shoot for Trent. My mom held him up for me because I wanted to get a full body shot of the sneakers and the sweat suit he was wearing.

Mimi, Granddaddy, and Nauna were so kind. They paid for all the food and all the supplies for the baptism. Here, Trent sees Mimi at BJs.

I just loved him in this hooded set from Target!

Later, he changed and Scott took us out to dinner. This outfit from Tanya is adorable. Gotta get these hats on before he realizes he hates them.

Trent sure loves his daddy. I think it's pretty obvious his daddy loves him too!
